The more I evolve as an artist, the more expressive I'm trying to become with my art. Now that I have a good handle on the conventions of fine art, I'm trying to develop a unique style and create more artwork that says something. It's one thing for an artist to be able to replicate reality; it's a completely other thing for him or her to be able to shape a story or evoke a particular feeling with hatch marks and paint strokes.
